Out of Eden, An American Gospel Group

In the midst of all the different gospel legends there is still room for some small groups. Out of Eden is one such American gospel group that still shines bright.

It is true that they may not have had the success and fame that was found by people like Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary, but they have definitely stuck around. This trio has done things the right way. Unlike many groups that split up and go thing own ways Out of Eden has stuck to what they know best: each other. The group seems incredibly close and they are humble even the midst of their success.

One of their biggest hits, Meditate, got a lot of buzz in both the gospel and secular world of music. The group stands out because they have a unique sound. They are doing something that is different from the rest of the herd. They don’t have have a heavy church vibe with gospel tingled melodies. They don’t feel the need to conform to the stereotypes of what a gospel group has to be. This group has taken the non-traditional route to share the love of Christ. They have praised in their very own way.
